Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 July 2026
WakeApp is built to respect your privacy. The short version: your alarms and preferences stay on your device, and we don't collect or sell your personal data.
No account needed · No ad tracking · No ads · No ad profiling
1. What we store
Your alarm times, chosen sounds, backgrounds and settings are saved locally on your device. WakeApp works without an account, and this information is never uploaded to us.
2. What we don't collect
We don't collect your name, email, contacts, location or microphone data. WakeApp runs no advertising trackers, so your usage is never profiled or sold for advertising.
3. Purchases
WakeApp Plus is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and we never see your card details. To manage subscriptions and prevent fraud, we use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription-management service. When you buy or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives your purchase transaction data, an anonymous app-user identifier, basic device information (type and operating system) and IP address. This data is not linked to your name, and is never used to track you across other apps or for advertising. RevenueCat processes this on our behalf; you can see how they handle it in RevenueCat's privacy policy.
4. Diagnostics
If you enable system-level sharing in iOS, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs. These contain no information that identifies you, and you can turn them off in your device settings at any time.
5. Your rights & data deletion
We are the data controller for the limited purchase data described above, and RevenueCat acts as our processor. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@wakeapp.app, and we'll remove your RevenueCat records.
6. Children & contact
WakeApp is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone. If you have questions about your privacy, contact us at hello@wakeapp.app and we'll be glad to help.
